Once we accept this reality, we are then able to tap into the answers and experience them as insights, breakthroughs and healing.

How do we get to experience these answers? By healing our physical bodies, mental and emotional states and cleansing our psychic or energetic systems. We also experience them by looking at our ancestors and the way that they lived. We can tap into this wisdom by going back to our roots, embracing our culture, finding out about our parents, grandparents and our ancestors, identifying and understanding the traumas that our parents went through and seeing how they translated into our own traumas. We also need to become aware of karmic blocks that have been passed down from generation to generation and, lastly, we need to reflect on our childhood.

Answers cannot be found in comparisons, judgments, conflicts and other perspectives that do not serve us. These will only cause harm to our bodies and create energy blockages, leading to unwise choices, depression, anxiety and stress, taking us further away from the answers that we need.

When we begin to heal ourselves holistically, it automatically impacts our families, communities, organisations and the world at large. We are healing humanity through the collective power of the individual. This leads us to start experiencing states of unconditional love for ourselves and then others, which is the foundation for us to connect to our sacred purpose and create a beautiful life.

Lorato Scherpenhuyzen, the founder of Ke Karabo, is a mother, community leader, spiritual trainer and a traditional healer, with a vision of assisting communities to reach their full potential. Her vision is guided by her African roots and spirituality. Mama Lorato comes from a family of community leaders and activists. She is inspired by a generation of people who have strived for a better world around them. She is a strong, resilient and caring person with extensive experience in community development. She has impacted individuals, families and communities with her knowledge of effective spiritual practices.

Robin Scherpenhuyzen, son of Mam’ Lorato, co-founder of Ke Karabo and a One Consciousness trainer, who trained at the world-renowned meditation and consciousness school for transforming humanity, Ekam in India, combines his learnt practical experience with a natural and intuitive ability to lead individuals and teams. He brings new light and inspires change through the power of wisdom and meditation.

Robin believes in the importance of self-awareness and introspection and how it cultivates inner strength, stability and a balanced life.

Ke Karabo combines African healing methods and eastern spirituality to offer retreats, workshops, coaching, holistic healing, as well as long term wellness programmes. Mama Lorato is a trained and qualified traditional healer with over 40 years of experience and  has incorporated her more than 20 years of experience travelling to India and learning from Ekam, the world centre for enlightenment, with her mastery in Reiki healing, family constellations and as a journey practioner, supported by her metaphysics academia for over 15 years, to give her clients and groups an extensive offering. This is complemented with Robin’s corporate experience, where he has led and developed individuals and teams for success, using his professional background in economics, analytics, executive coaching and wellness consulting. Together they form the backbone of Ke Karabo and are supported by a network of like-minded healing practitioners from many backgrounds and disciplines.
