Behind every successful woman is a wise husband. One does not hear this often enough, yet it’s true.

We sit under a tree every morning overlooking the sea. My husband Shaun with his mug of tea, I with my enormous mug of coffee. We sit in silence, wrapped in blankets against the chill morning air. As the sun rises, we thaw into speech. Well it’s I who do most of the talking.

This morning I was talking Schumann resonance – the electromagnetic resonant frequency of the earth, how it’s speeded up. I went on to talk of energetic balancing using frequency. A brilliant idea began to form of how to rebalance the earth.

It involved all people with radionics machines linking up and beaming a balancing frequency. In addition, we would link all the crystals. We could even set a frequency on the rife, put a clear terminator crystal on the metal hand pieces and direct that via a big amethyst cluster to link with all the other crystals on the planet. Thereby balance the earth. I had it all figured out.

The wise husband sipped his tea till I was done. Then he said:

“The earth does not need any balancing. The earth knows exactly what it’s doing. It’s evolving and changing. It is we who need to find out what we’re doing. The earth is highly conscious and infinitely intelligent, beyond what we could ever comprehend. It’s evolving. We, have to decide if we will go along, or move off to alpha centauri. As for crystals – the earth is beaming us with crystals which are much bigger than our little toys.”

“You should be writing my blog”, I said. He smiled and continued sipping his tea

Ralph Waldo Emerson claimed in his 1836 essay, Nature, ‘In the woods, I feel that nothing can befall me which nature cannot repair.’

Underpinned by the belief that nature is healing for humans, in Japan shinrin yoku, or forest bathing is encouraged by the government. Japan has 62 designated therapeutic woods, attracting about five million visitors annually.

Both Shintoism and Zen Buddhism, the major religions in Japan, see spirit as a part of nature – not separate from it. Spirit is in the trees, the rocks, in the breeze, the stream, the waterfall.

The Japanese have long celebrated nature. They party when the moon is bright, when flowers bloom, and when fireflies multiply. They have long known about the healing powers of nature which we need only tap into.

Much research shows that trees do have healing powers. They also communicate with one another. They release antimicrobial essential oils, called phytoncides, that protect trees from germs and have a host of health benefits for people. The oils boost mood and immune system function; reduce blood pressure, heart rate, stress, anxiety and confusion, improve sleep and creativity and may even help fight cancer and depression.(See Forest Bathing by physician Qing Li).

Trees are poems that the earth writes upon the sky.

Kahlil Gibran

Earth is healing, gives healing, contains healing. So many healing plants, crystals, mineral baths, places of healing and power. Yes! Right now, Mother Earth is healing and balancing herself and also healing and balancing us – if we will let her.

Now, of course, it may seem that Mother Earth may be a little peeved of late. When we look around at all the earth changes, the fires raging, the poles melting, sea warming, unprecedented weather conditions, we might be tempted to believe that everything is falling apart. Scientists tell us that we have now entered unknown territory. I must say, I was rather excited when I heard this. Far from seeing it as a prediction of doom, I imagined that all sorts of amazing things could happen from here. Much like that old fashioned sign that once marked the end of the world: ‘Beyond here, there be dragons’.

What extraordinary things can we imagine emerging from this point of apparent chaos? What new realities and ways of being? For so long we have been heralding a new earth: A world of love and peace and harmony, a just and kind world where people live in harmony. Now, on the eve of a new dawn, it seems all anyone can create is dystopian futures – in books, movies, the news, scientific predictions – in our consciousness. Even those who claim to be aligned with spirit, have fallen prey to this malaise, creating conspiracy after conspiracy, to add to the fear that prowls our world.

The latest conspiracy theory circulating, has to do with the weather. Well one of the latest theories anyway. The usual money-related conspiracies focused on the collapse of currencies and banks are still there, as are the ones around world order, pandemic and pharmaceutical, ufos, and soon to come AI, I am certain!

On any day, healers, energy workers and fellow travellers on the path are more likely to send you a long missive about a conspiracy than about enlightenment. The more spiritually and energetically aware it seems people are, the greater the likelihood of such discussions. More disturbing and significant is the strong belief and fear around these topics. The muggles and left brain-centred folk usually dismiss such data as pure hogwash. Though they, too, are inclined to circulate research-backed data that appears on the news marking the coming of the end of days, from time to time.

I remember the illuminati and ‘royals are reptiles’ conspiracies made popular by the now famous conspiracy theorist in the early ’90s. Here’s a man who claimed very early on in his career that he is a part of the ‘soul of the godhead – god incarnate on earth – like Jesus’.

More interesting though, is that his first talks and books are all about the power of collective thought. How, ‘when we think, we create an energy field. When we think thoughts of love, forgiveness, peace and all the things we want to bring to the world, we create a very certain kind of positive energy’. He goes on to say, in a 1991 interview in Ireland, that, ‘when we think thoughts of anger, or fear, we create another kind of energy.  A very destructive one, which, if it’s in big enough quantities, destroys the very life force of creation’. No truer words were ever spoken!

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

I Corinthians 13:13

Yet sadly – and most strangely – this man spends the next 30 years inciting and cultivating the very energy ‘that destroys life’ – not just through fear-mongering information and dozens of books, but through what I find to be a very angry and condemning presence and energy.

Now I have no doubt that all sorts of things are being concealed or distorted on the planet at this very moment. All manner of phenomena and events, which governments and corporations deny, are actual facts. Movies and documentaries in the mainstream are highlighting, in indisputable terms, the destruction of the planet, cruelty towards animals and people and the ongoing misinformation that ensures the wheels of greed continue to turn. It is news for only some and it has been going on since the beginning of time.

Is it a conspiracy? Are there dark forces of evil trying to keep humanity down? Whether there are or there aren’t, there is only one question we needs to ask about atrocities, misinformation, or distortion of the presentation of reality  – a conspiracy if you like – and that is:

What are we going to do about it?

Ranting, raving and condemning, never solved anything. Trying to discover or uncover plots and plans behind things never solved anything either. It’s not the why of stuff that we need to know, but the how.

How can we change things? How can we keep the energy within ourselves and the planet high enough that we can create a new, loving world. How can we create and spread a love conspiracy around the planet. That’s what the hippies did in the ’60s and. if we need anything, it’s that right now.

Over and over again we have had the power of collective thought, prayer, meditation demonstrated, 140 000 being the number of people needed to come together to effect major change. The Maharishi people have demonstrated crime amongst other negative phenomena decreases with far smaller numbers of people meditating than that; 140 000 is not a big number at all. There are far more healers, light and energy workers and people focused on Spirit than that. Devout Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists. There are many millions of people that could potentially shift the poles right back into place, in a single afternoon. If they were to focus on the right things.

A dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality.

John Lennon

We absolutely cannot devote one quark of energy on conspiracy theories or fear or dysptopian futures. Please, no matter how tantalising or fascinating, say no to that. Do not spread it. Delete, delete, delete.

Focusing on the darkness never did anything except shrink things and create more darkness. Spreading fear does indeed destroy life. Spreading love creates it.

Have I wandered far off down the track of the forest? Well not really. The amazing thing about nature is that it keeps producing, balancing, creating, finding solutions. Mother Nature doesn’t give up. After every fire there is new growth, after every earthquake and every tornado and every disaster, flowers bloom.

We need to trust Mother Nature’s ability to balance and heal both herself and us. We need to believe that this great cleanse we find ourselves in is working towards the creation of the greater good. We need to keep the faith, that ‘all things work together for good’.

There is an incredible renaissance of goodness sweeping the planet at this very moment. Kindness is on the rise. In August 2021, 60 000 people from 144 countries took part in The Kindness Test created by BBC Radio 4. Sixteen per cent of people interviewed said they had received an act of kindness within the last hour, with a further 43 per cent having experienced kindness within the last day. Seems the recent apocalypse created a pandemic of kindness as well as a surprising increase in happiness.

Right now, people around the world are performing incredible acts of love, kindness and support towards their fellow beings. Heroic deeds, gestures of self sacrifice and enormous giving. One just needs to look and pay attention to the right things.

A hero is someone who has given their life to something bigger than one’s self. Joseph Campbell

Every single problem the world faces is being solved by handfuls of people who have not succumbed to the wave of negative misinformation and fear, but are quietly going about their business, creating results. Mother Nature herself is healing, rejuvenating and renewing. This is the news that we should spread and focus on.

Alternative carbon-free energy through geothermal and other sources is a reality. There are enzymes that turn air into electricity; sound frequencies that can clear water of pollution. Abandoned oil wells are being turned into geothermal batteries. Landfills are being transformed into mangrove forests. Infinitely recyclable plastic has been created. Previously lost species of fish seem to have regenerated themselves and are re-apprearing. Scientists have recently witnessed cracked metal heal itself, fusing back together, without human intervention. Trash is being turned into graphene which can cut the environmental impact of concrete by a third. Regrowing teeth is moving towards clinical trials in Japan. Lichen is used to regrow rainforests.

Countries around the world are generating more and more of their energy from renewables – some like Portugal by 100 per cent. Clean fuel powered by the sun and photosynthesis has been created by pulling CO2 from the air and plastic. A device has been created that allows the brain and spinal cord to become connected, thereby enabling the paralysed to walk. Implanted electrodes could help 148 million blind people to see. Fungi store a third of all carbon emissions on earth and so could be the answer to global warming. (See goodnewsnetwork.org for details).

So much of our stable datum of bad news is reversing. The loss of climate-crucial mangrove forests has slowed to nearly negligible amounts worldwide. The amount of plastic in the oceans has been vastly overestimated by some 30 times, recent studies have shown. Previously endangered and even extinct species are re-emerging. Blue whales are returning to California in levels not seen since before whaling times. Western quolls have returned to Australia after a 100-year absence. Things are getting better.

Healing gradually takes place if you are with nature.

Krishnamurti

Nature is saving humanity from disaster where humans let it. Forests are absorbing carbon faster in response to more carbon in the air. And ordinary people and communities are changing the world one tree at a time. (https://www.conservation.org/blog/experts-see-hope-in-gloomy-climate-report)

According to conservation.org only three per cent of funds allocated for climate change go towards nature preservation, yet it is here that the answers lie. Yes, nature will regenerate itself, if we allow it and give it some help. Species will restore themselves like the recently discovered sawfish, the rare births of langur and tamarin monkeys, as well as critically endangered chimpanzees, rhino, leopard and turtles. Coral reefs will emerge out of trash in the ocean, mangroves out of landfills. We need to believe in Mother Nature’s ability to heal herself and to heal us too. We need to believe that nature has the answers.

The answers also lie with what the Tao Te Ching calls ‘the ordinary man’. Those (extra)-ordinary individuals that quietly work away to solve problems, plant trees, clear trash, alleviate suffering, create new ways of living. Small companies that are focused on the greater good. And to do this we need to hold the space for Utopia. We need to believe in a brand new brighter world. Focus on it, talk about it and bring it into being. Now is the time and we are the people! We can make it happen, if we focus on the light.

If we could – and we must – establish a deep long-abiding relationship with nature, with the actual trees, the bushes, the flowers, the grass and the fast-moving clouds, then we would never slaughter another human being for any reason whatsoever.
