Essential oils as vibrations and how they tune to the energy body
Here at Escentia we respect essential oils for what they truly are: Pure vibrations of nature. These aromatic compounds hold the essence and life-force of the plant within each drop. Essential oils are well known for their ability to alter one’s physical, mental and emotional states, but not much attention is given to the energetic alterations. What is astounding is that the ‘materials’ with the highest vibration on earth are essential oils! A method has been used to measure this – basically using the unit of Hertz. The oil that registered the highest vibration of all was pure rose, which was followed by pure lavender. Kirlian photography, when showing photos of the palm of a hand, before lavender was applied and then after, produced a significant expansion of the auric field around the hand.
Vibrational medicine might still be in its infancy in our culture, but there is a burgeoning group that fully recognises and uses the vibrational power of essential oils as a tool for healing. Subtle energy has been referred to way back in history and has been recorded by several different cultures. These ‘ancients’, who were successful healers, developed some words, even, to describe this unseen but relevant ‘force’: Prana from the Indus Valley, chi (Qi) from China and nefish from the Hebrews.
Scientists still grapple with this concept because it is still difficult for them to ‘prove’. When using essential oils and aromatherapy for their energetic healing benefits, it is important to introduce their energies into a healing strategy that is holistic in nature. In other words, it is important to look simultaneously at the emotional, physical and energetic aspects that need to be balanced.
An interesting way to look at what essential oils are capable of is to look at their ability to tune our spirit to the vibrations of love – for each other and for the universe at large. When one begins to realise that everything has a vibration, a door opens; all we have to do is expand our awareness and understanding of the world around us.
