Odyssey Magazine: Conversations with Christa featuring Narelle Carter-Quinlan

Welcome to Odyssey Magazines Conversations with Christa.

Narelle Carter-Quinlan BAppSc

Foundress & Steward of The Saltwater Songlines Project. Photographer, Writer, Transformer.

My work is an embodied ecology of place. I make photographs of the intimate relationship of the ecosystems of the body, and the tissues of the land.  Retired academic, anatomist & histologist, dance performer & choreographer, yoga therapist for spinal pathologies, my body of work is about the felt relationship with all sentience.  Most recently, I’ve been apprenticed to an estuary for eight years, learning the visceral language of a fluid field in ongoing change; a porosity of consciousness. I am an Elder.

I live part-time in my seven meter campervan, Maia. I walk, I make pictures, I write about that. This, is how I pray.

So pull up a chair and join Christa in a space where curiosity meets connection. These aren’t your typical interviews. They’re deep dives into the minds, hearts, and stories of people shaping the world in their own unique ways. Step inside. Listen, reflect, and maybe even find a little of yourself along the way.

Welcome to the conversation.
