Blayz Creations is a family affair! Cheryl Bosch, the owner of Blayz Creations, Storm Higgo the marketing manager and Kaye Higgo, the designer and manufacturer are the trio that form Blayz Creations. What started off as a project in 2009 to enable Kaye to afford her jewellery tools for UJ studies has turned into a successful business.
“Blayz Creations has been in operation since April 2018, originally based in Gauteng. We relocated down to the Garden Route during lockdown in March 2021. We opened our first store in the Western Cape in June 2021 in Sedgefield and we will soon be opening on the KZN North Coast. We offer the spiritual healing community an opportunity to meet like-minded individuals as well as being able to share our sacred space. We welcome all into our crystal emporium and encourage the sharing of knowledge of everyone’s unique skills in healing.
“As you walk into our store, Blayz Creations, your senses are tantalised with the exotic scents of our essential oil products, our heavenly hand-rolled masala incense as well as our spiritual scented candle range. Walking further in, your eyes feast upon the beautiful, energetic tumbled gemstones. As you enter our store, you are immediately aware of the energy and vibrations generated by our gemstones. We have over 100 different types of gemstone comprising tumbled, points, specimens, carved as well as rough. If we do not have stock of a specific gemstone, we will do our utmost to source it. For example, moldavite is not readily available and when we can, we are able to source this crystal. Moldavite is a dark green tektite which formed as a result of a meteor landing in central Europe about 15 million years ago and is believed to have spiritual properties of transformation, fortune and protection, so is greatly coveted.
“We have an extensive range of selenite (otherwise known as satin spar) in various shapes and forms and we stock our lamps in selenite as well as Himalayan salt. We have stunning specimens of black tourmaline, labradorite, clear quartz, purpurite, garnet, amethyst and many others. We are known for making our crystals affordable, enabling everyone to be able to own their own. Pay us a visit in store or online!
“We participate in local markets and currently, we are in the process of intensifying our presence to reach our customers in KZN. We will be opening a new store on the North Coast, KZN as well as establishing a holistic healing market that will happen once a month. This market will encourage alternative healers, reflexologists, Rieki healing, readers, vegans, artists to showcase their services or wares. “Our store has its own spiritual/ holistic library where you are welcome to sit in the store to read or take some books home with you. We have a lovely area where you can sit and practise with our various musical instruments as well.”
