Sacred Sites – Southern Africa

There is a Great Awakening happening, not only in Human Consciousness but also within Mother Earth and particularly at sacred sites which abound in Southern Africa.

There are many caves with Bushmen paintings, as well as sacred rock formations, standing stones, stone circles and archaeological sites in valleys and on top of mountains.
Many of these places are in plain sight, for all to see but because we are unaware of them, they are often overlooked.
As the Great Spirit of Africa is awakening, she is slowly coming back into awareness as if she’s been asleep for a very long time. She’s still a bit groggy and is slowly coming fully awake and aware with sleepy eyes. The ancient peoples of this land were able to detect ley lines within the earth and followed them to where they intersected. These crossings are where energy power points or vortexes occur.
These areas of high energy can be very beneficial to our health and wellbeing. However, if we build structures on them and box in this energy, it can become detrimental to our health, e.g. sick building syndrome.
It’s believed that some standing stones are stargates or gateways, portals or energy doorways that allow inter-dimensional travel.
They are considered sacred by the indigenous peoples. These are places of high energy where it has been reported that people can ‘view’ a future lifetime or even a past lifetime: Portals of ascension, where we’re able to leave our physical bodies and travel to other dimensions. These are magical places where one feels remarkably close to Creator/Mother/Father God.
These sacred sites are in some of the most beautiful, unspoilt scenic locations in Southern Africa. Places off the beaten track that you wouldn’t ordinarily visit because they’re not to be found on any tourist maps!
The Great Awakening that is taking place right now is assisting humanity, at this very auspicious time, to shift into higher gear and step across the Rainbow Bridge into the Golden Age of Aquarius that is birthing.
This Gift from Spirit is ours to embrace – trust it! Believe that the new Golden Age is dawning. If you listen and connect into the trees, the mountains, the water and ask, they will confirm that they are indeed awakening! The Earth has consciousness and speaks to us, if only we take the time to connect and listen for her reply.
Baba Credo Mutwa once remarked that the Western Cape Coast is full of sacred sites, Table Mountain being the iconic ‘Sacred Mountain’.
There are numerous sacred sites along the Cape Coast, such as Cape St Blaze Cave at Mossel Bay.
Just outside Mossel Bay there is an archaeological site made famous by the discovery of 75 000-year-old pieces of ochre. Some of the earliest evidence of shell fishing and fishing has been discovered at this site, which dates back 140 000 years. This site is known as the Point of Human Origin.
There is so much to explore and to discover. Here at the tip of Africa a powerful light grid emits a healing vibration. Table Mountain sends out branches or roots that link with other sacred sites around the world. These roots connect in and through the mountains at the tip of Africa, moving up the Drakensberg mountain range (the Dragon Mountains) to its head near Blyde River Canyon. Moving northward, it moves into the sacred Matopos Hills in Zimbabwe, onward into Malawi, where it enters the Great Rift valley, up into Lake Tanganyika and then on to Burundi and Rwanda, entering Lake Victoria, the source of the Nile, moving north across the Sudan into Egypt and the Nile Delta. It effectively energetically links the great pyramids of Egypt to Table Mountain.

Man must make two connections. He must reconnect with the earth and he must reconnect with the stars.
